Hotel Brisas Bacalar

A calm little hotel with a beautiful garden to relax in hammocks underneath the trees. Located in the suburbs of Bacalar, some places to go are a bit further away, but everything is still within walking distance. I would have given 5 stars, if it wasn't for these things: - our room had a narrow window with no blinds, and early in the morning, the sun shined very directly on my bed. It wasn't easy to sleep after 7 am - there was some kind of machine or apparatus somehwere, that constantly turned on and off every minute or so (maybe the water heater?). It was not super loud, so I could still sleep with my ear plugs, but my friends found it a bit annoying. Apart from that: Great place to be. Also, there is a dog (equinoccio) and a cat (solsticio) and they're the cutest!

Lovely property, very comfortable rooms, and friendly, accommodating staff. 10/10 would happily come back next time

El hospedaje nos encantó. Nosotros nos hospedamos en una habitación con dos recámaras conectadas (dos camas matrimoniales en una y otra matrimonial en la otra). La decoración era sencilla, pero acogedora y bonita, con mucha luz. Las camas y almohadas super cómodas! Cuentan con aire condicionado, ventiladores en el techo, televisión con internet y Wifi. Además de todo lo anterior la atención de Frida fue extraordinaria, nos dio consejos de Bacalar, y me ayudó dándome recomendaciones sobre dónde comprar algunas cosas que buscaba de último momento. Ahí mismo puedes contratar tours con actividades de Bacalar (nosotros no pudimos por el tiempo). Sin duda esperamos volver. P.D. también cuenta donde estacionar el auto pero enfrente del Hotel por fuera, sin embargo es super seguro y no le pasó nada en las 3 noches que estuvimos ahí.

I had a great experience staying at Hotel Brisas Bacalar. The location is peaceful and perfect for relaxing,. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my stay. A special thanks to Frita, the host—she was incredibly accommodating, kind, and attentive. She made sure everything went smoothly and truly made me feel at home. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Bacalar, and I’ll be back for sure!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à l'hôtel Brisas. Bien que l'hôtel soit un peu éloigné du centre (20min à pied) c'est un endroit très agréable. Je remercie surtout chaleureusement Frida qui nous a parfaitement accompagné en nous proposant ses meilleures adresses, toujours de bons conseils et disponible ! Muchas gracias

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Un lugar encantador para descansar El hotel es cómodo, limpio y muy bonito, con un ambiente natural y tranquilo que invita a relajarse desde el primer momento. Todo está cuidado con detalle, y se nota la dedicación en cada rincón. Lo mejor es que te sientes como en casa, con una energía cálida y acogedora. Perfecto para desconectarse, descansar y disfrutar de un entorno auténtico. ¡Totalmente recomendado!

Maravilloso hospedaje. Quedamos encantados con las habitaciones. Tienen todo lo necesario, un pequeño clóset para colgar ropa, un tendedero para colgar tu ropa mojada y que se seque. La presión del agua del baño es bastante buena. El jardín es bastante bonito. Tiene sillas, mesitas y hamacas afuera para descansar un rato. Lo más lindo es que tiene un perrito y una gatita de lo más tiernos. Tiene 4 cajones de estacionamiento por si llevan vehículo. Frida, la encargada del alojamiento es muy amable y atenta, está al pendiente de cualquier situación. Así mismo nos recibió una chica de nombre blanca super amable y atenta. Super recomendable el alojamiento.
